Moving Forward Gulf Coast, Inc.
Moving Forward Gulf Coast, Inc.is a community-based, nonprofit initiative committed to Restorative Justice for residents of the Gulf Coast region. Moving Forward envisions stronger communities of Color with sustained civic engagement around the protection of human rights. Our mission is to build the civic potential in Gulf Coast Communities of Color by providing innovative programs and services aimed at informing communities and rooted in community power.
Alliance Institute
The Alliance Institute is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization that brings together an experienced team of trainers, public service specialists, development specialists, and grassroots leaders to advocate for social and economic justice. The Alliance Institute's mission is to provide individuals, families, and organizations with the skills and information necessary for them to fully participate in the decision making processes that affect them in their homes, neighborhoods and communities.

Atchafalaya Basinkeeper is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the ecosystems within the Atchafalaya Basin. The Mississippi Center for Justice is a nonprofit, public interest law firm committed to advancing racial and economic justice. The Surfrider Foundation
The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves, and beaches. The Surfrider Foundation was started in Malibu, California in 1984 by a handful of surfers to protest threats to their local surf break at Malibu Point. The organization continued on for several years as a loose advocacy group until 1991, when the first chapters were founded. At that point the Surfrider Foundation transitioned into a grassroots activist organization. Today the Surfrider Foundation maintains over 50,000 members and 80 chapters worldwide.
Alabama Rivers Alliance
The Alabama Rivers Alliance mission is to protect Alabama's rivers through water quality and quantity policy advocacy, grassroots organizing, and the providing of information to citizens in order to achieve clean and healthy watershed ecosystems, healthy people, strong economies, and a functioning democratic system of government in Alabama.
Lower Mississippi Riverkeeper
The Lower Mississippi RIVERKEEPER® is the first project of its kind for Louisiana and the first on the Mississippi River. They serve to energize current activists to participate in environmental decisions, educate the public and government leaders about environmental challenges and economic opportunities regarding the Mississippi River and how reduced water pollution benefits all of us.
On Wings Of Care
On Wings of Care is dedicated to promoting the welfare of domestic animals, wildlife and their habitats, and natural and human-dominated ecosystems by helping with searches, rescues, transports, rehabilitation, medical and veterinary treatment, and scientific research.
Asian Americans for Change
Asian Americans for Change (AAC) is a community-based development organization, established in 2007. AAC is a grassroots 501(c)3 non-profit organization who has served the Vietnamese American communities after Hurricane Katrina South Mississippi. Our mission is to strengthen our community though the stewardship of grassroots service projects.
Mary Queen of Vietnam Community Development Corporation, Inc. (MQVN CDC)
MQVN CDC was established by community leaders in May 2006 to assist Vietnamese-Americans in New Orleans East rebuild their lives and their community after hurricane Katrina.MQVN CDC's mission is to preserve and promote our unique diversity and improving the quality of life of residents in the Greater New Orleans area, beginning in New Orleans East. Together with community partners, our work encompasses health care, environmental and agricultural concerns, education, housing, social services, economic development and culture and the arts.
