Galveston BAYKEEPER® is a member of Waterkeeper Alliance, a grassroots advocacy organization of over 177 Waterkeeper programs and growing. The members advocate for water bodies around the world. Galveston BAYKEEPER® is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization working to preserve and enhance Galveston Bay and its tributaries.
Galveston BAYKEEPER® participates in advocacy efforts to influence public policies that affect the functions of these ecosystems and serves as a watchdog for activities that could adversely affect the Bay.
